Saturday, July 5

Location: Aloti Farm

11h00 – Intro to regenerative farming workshop at Aloti Farm.

🌱 Aloti Farm is an organic permaculture farm run by a tiny Black FLINTA team near Berlin and nurtured by an ever growing community of generous helpers.

They are just starting out and they grow vegetables and herbs on 1 hectare of land, which they plan to make accessible thanks to a solidarity-based price scale.

The farm is open to all who share their values but their farming practice and political work centers BIPoC, queer, migrant and disabled folks 🌱

The team will show us around the farm, tell us about their work, guide us in some practical farm work and let us taste some of their juicy produce 🥗

Transportation to the event: the farm is located in Werder (Havel). We will organize a shuttle to the event from Berlin or from the nearest train station to the farm. More information will follow after registration.

14h00 – Community Grief Circle

 Location: Afropolitan
Möckernstraße 72 10965 Berlin Germany
With continued violence against Black, brown, trans and queer bodies, we invite you to this grief circle to process our pain in community. At a time of continued violence against Black, brown, trans, queer and disabled bodies; a time of renewed police violence against those who stand for life, humanity and stand in solidarity with the people of Congo, Sudan, Palestine and all indigenous struggles for liberation; and a time where the the mass deaths of Black people in the Congo, in Sudan or in the Mediterranean barely makes the news, it is important to have spaces where we can share our pain and process our grief in community. That’s why we’re happy to invite you to a grief circle hosted by Lee Modupeh Anansi Freeman. Lee Modupeh (pronoun: it) is a Berlin-based, Blackity Black Yorúbà, multi-gender, transgender un-disciplined artist, African spiritualist, yoga teacher, s3x worker and death doula in-training. It is a breaker of chains, a storyteller, a somatic bodyworker & healer and educator. It is most times a good witch and sometimes a bad bxtch.

There will be an awareness team throughout the event to prevent harm and offer support if needed.
