Description

EKO is a Black feminist political education initiative by Mwasi collective, bringing together activists, artists and academics with a deep knowledge of a certain topic connected to Black studies, stories and struggle.

With EKO we want to :

- disseminate knowledge to help take action, in the French context where anti-Blackness, ethnonationalism and authoritarian, patriarchal capitalism are relentless

- confront reactionary trends on gender, sexuality and class, as well as divisions within our communities, in a context of the rise of Black masculinism in popular and academic discourse

- introduce political organisations to no-academic Black radical methodology, and offer a space for collective knowledge production grounded in our communities and our struggles.

To do that, we offer :

Public conferences

Open to all through registration, in person in Paris. These interactive sessions are a half day and are centred on a particular theme with a guest.
